Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jools Symons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Lance Hoskins made a huge save. Austen Speight didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John King went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Silesia's goalkeeper Lance Hoskins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, FC Silesia's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Whitmore came free, but Lance Hoskins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Felix Shackleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Vinnie Haxby from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Lance Hoskins's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lance Hoskins came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Leeds City FC's Jools Symons. But to his dismay, Jools Symons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of FC Silesia booed when Leeds City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Buckley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Bartlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austen Speight having to interfere. Lance Hoskins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Whitmore in the 28th minute of play. Jools Symons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Hoskins having to interfere. Gerry Whitmore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Silesia booed when Leeds City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sly Cryer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Bartlett struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Austen Speight didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Silesia. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Bartlett was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Leeds City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Edison to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Jools Symons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lance Hoskins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Silesia's Lance Hoskins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jools Symons in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Gerry Whitmore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lance Hoskins. FC Silesia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerry Whitmore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Lance Hoskins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Buckley, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Gerry Whitmore made a precise shot to the right of Lance Hoskins. FC Silesia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Brian Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John King let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 79th minute shot 5-2 at rihgt post. Felix Shackleton kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The Leeds City FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Leeds City FC's Jools Symons looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91st minute Jools Symons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Hoskins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brian Bartlett came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Silesia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Bartlett couldn't finish the play. Leeds City FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Silesia for a fine match.
