Border Jets FC's Ozzy Parkinson got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Border Jets FC's Philip Barratt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Bartlett in the 8th minute of play. Ozzy Parkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Border Jets FC's goalkeeper Philip Barratt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Bellamy. Philip Barratt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Bellamy in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes FC Silesia got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Burbeary. Freddie Hatcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ozzy Parkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Parkinson in the 35th minute of play forced FC Silesia's goalkeeper Lance Hoskins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Ozzy Parkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Hoskins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ozzy Parkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ozzy Parkinson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Border Jets FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozzy Parkinson couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Bartlett to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ozzy Parkinson sped through FC Silesia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lance Hoskins. After a defensive mix-up in FC Silesia's zone, Ozzy Parkinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Hoskins came out of the goal and Ozzy Parkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ozzy Parkinson came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Border Jets FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozzy Parkinson couldn't finish the play. Freddie Hatcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ozzy Parkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Border Jets FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ozzy Parkinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Hoskins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Silesia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Danny Garner hit a great ball. Freddie Hatcher struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lance Hoskins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Border Jets FC. In the 64th minute, Ozzy Parkinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddie Hatcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lance Hoskins made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ozzy Parkinson sent off a good shot on target. Border Jets FC's Ozzy Parkinson got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Shackleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute John King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Barratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ozzy Parkinson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Border Jets FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozzy Parkinson couldn't finish the play. Ozzy Parkinson took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lance Hoskins. Lance Hoskins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 81 played minutes, FC Silesia's Marlon Poate shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philip Barratt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Silesia reached it. Ozzy Parkinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lance Hoskins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddie Hatcher in the 86th minute. If Ozzy Parkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Brian Bartlett made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Border Jets FC's Philip Barratt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Border Jets FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
