Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dominik Husband kicked off to start the match. Reggie Cusack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Archer having to interfere. If Denis Sutherland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Denis Sutherland put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ray Archer. The audience was convinced that Denis Sutherland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ray Archer was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ray Archer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Cusack, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ray Archer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Sutherland in the 25th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Romford got a freekick which was hit by Tony Tolley. Ray Archer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Sutherland in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Sutherland in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Archer saved Romford from getting behind. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romford's goalkeeper Ray Archer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ray Archer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reggie Cusack in the 41st minute of the match. Denis Sutherland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Archer having to interfere. Brad Dunn in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damien Dobbs, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Denis Sutherland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Ricky Grantham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenny Titmuss charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Titmuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Romford getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kenny Titmuss hit a great ball. Romford's Ray Archer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Sutherland in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Romford's zone, Reggie Cusack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Archer came out of the goal and Reggie Cusack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Addlestone AFC's Ricky Grantham got a free kick in the 68th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Reggie Cusack notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Romford's Ray Archer. Ray Archer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romford's Ray Archer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Sutherland in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Sutherland in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Archer saved Romford from getting behind. With a little luck, Romford's Ray Archer got control of the ball when Reggie Cusack tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Denis Sutherland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Reggie Cusack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Addlestone AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reggie Cusack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Archer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Addlestone AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Romford.
