Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Selhurst FC's Jools Potterton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jools Potterton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Coyle in the 11th minute of play forced Selhurst FC's goalkeeper Conan Wilkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conan Wilkins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Jowsey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After some careless play in the Rising Bridge City defense, Jools Potterton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carl Barker. The Rising Bridge City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Barker should have stopped the shot. Jools Potterton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Jools Potterton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selhurst FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jools Potterton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jools Potterton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Barker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Jools Potterton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selhurst FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jools Potterton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Barker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Monk in the 44th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Adam Coyle made the kick off in the second half. Jools Potterton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jools Potterton struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Carl Barker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selhurst FC. Selhurst FC's Abraham Monk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ethan Argent, made in the 57th minute of the game. Denzil Sparks kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Conan Wilkins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Coyle's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Jools Potterton came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Selhurst FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jools Potterton couldn't finish the play. Adam Coyle might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conan Wilkins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Coyle ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Selhurst FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Coyle came free, but Conan Wilkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conan Wilkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Rain, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Conan Wilkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Selhurst FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Coyle came free, but Conan Wilkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Selhurst FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Abraham Monk hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Abraham Monk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rising Bridge City's Francis Rain in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Selhurst FC's goalie prevented a goal. Conan Wilkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Coyle in the 94th minute of play. Rising Bridge City's Francis Rain got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rising Bridge City succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Selhurst FC had controlled the match.
