With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ashley Singleton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ed Crouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Bartlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Downton having to interfere. Ashley Singleton made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Johnathon Sheldon sent off a good shot on target. Rupert Downton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniel Whalley came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Paxton Hotspur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Whalley couldn't finish the play. Johnathon Sheldon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ashley Singleton having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Alex Bartlett managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Speight in the 44th minute of play forced Paxton Hotspur's goalkeeper Rupert Downton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Kilburn, Westbourne Park's Kenny Speight sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rupert Downton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Whalley to make the kick off. After 61 played minutes Paxton Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Vince Fenwick. In the 64th minute, Ed Crouch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rupert Downton. The goal made the score 0-1. Ashley Singleton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Whalley in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Kilburn, Westbourne Park's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Whalley came free, but Ashley Singleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenny Speight charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Speight the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kenny Speight hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Daniel Whalley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Daniel Whalley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kilburn, Westbourne Park's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
