Bourne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alec Bodsworth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Calum Renner might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frankie Stockley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calum Renner ran back to his position shaking his head. Frankie Stockley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calum Renner in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Ritchie Pitman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frankie Stockley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frankie Stockley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calum Renner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Calum Renner notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bourne's Frankie Stockley. Frankie Stockley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frankie Stockley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaq Morning, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Timperley's Zaq Morning in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bourne's goalie prevented a goal. Conal Richardson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Bourne got a freekick which was hit by Conal Richardson. Calum Renner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Stockley having to interfere. Alec Bodsworth hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Calum Renner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calum Renner struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Frankie Stockley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timperley. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaq Morning got free with Frankie Stockley in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conal Richardson struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Benjamin Horsell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bourne. Calum Renner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Frankie Stockley made a huge save. Bourne's Frankie Stockley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Bourne from getting a goal against them. Calum Renner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Stockley having to interfere. Timperley's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
