Syd Worth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Owen having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Lennie Brent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miles Jobling kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Ash Lomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Ash Lomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Will Kempson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nigel Schofield struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Will Kempson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea AFC. With an all-out effort, Chelsea AFC's Will Kempson threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ash Lomas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 31 played minutes Chelsea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Shackleton. In the 33rd minute Syd Worth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rio Owen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Chelsea AFC's Ash Lomas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Will Kempson. Will Kempson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Nigel Schofield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Nigel Schofield made a precise shot to the right of Will Kempson. Andover City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Syd Worth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lennie Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Chelsea AFC's Ash Lomas in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Andover City's goalie prevented a goal. After 58 played minutes Andover City got a freekick which was hit by Rio Nightingale. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ash Lomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ash Lomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Kempson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Syd Worth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rio Owen. That made the score 3-1 in the 62 minute of play. Rio Owen came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Andover City's Tristan Dodd. But to his dismay, Tristan Dodd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Lomas in the 73rd minute of play forced Andover City's goalkeeper Will Kempson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chelsea AFC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Chelsea AFC's Ash Lomas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 80 minutes, Ash Lomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ash Lomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Nigel Schofield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nigel Schofield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Kempson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ash Lomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Will Kempson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Will Kempson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nigel Schofield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ash Lomas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Will Kempson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Nigel Schofield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Kempson having to interfere. When Nigel Schofield came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Chelsea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nigel Schofield couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ash Lomas in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Kempson saved Andover City from getting behind.
