Wirral FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bourne the free kick. A collision led to Wirral FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Stephen Holt hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Hugh Howden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugh Howden during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicholas Woodward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugh Howden, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Lewis Kendall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Frankie Stockley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frankie Stockley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lewis Kendall in the 16th minute. Ashley Sparks received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicholas Woodward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Richardson in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bourne's Frankie Stockley got control of the ball when Lewis Kendall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stephen Holt hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bourne's Frankie Stockley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Sparks in the 40th minute of play. Ashley Sparks received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frankie Stockley came out and tried to block the shot, but Ashley Sparks slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. If Ricky Walsh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

With a little luck, Wirral FC's Nicholas Woodward got control of the ball when Conal Richardson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Brandon Wicks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Lewis Kendall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wirral FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience was convinced that Lewis Kendall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frankie Stockley was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 87 minutes of play, Wirral FC's Ashley Sparks made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frankie Stockley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bourne's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lewis Banks in the 93rd minute. The corner ended in Lewis Banks almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wirral FC's Nicholas Woodward did a great save. Frankie Stockley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Kendall, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Wirral FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
