Tristan Dodd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Syd Worth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Horsell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Syd Worth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes, Timperley's Ritchie Pitman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Will Kempson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Timperley reached it. Miles Jobling hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Calum Renner made a precise shot to the right of Will Kempson. Andover City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, Timperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaq Morning to maneuver through the defense. Andover City's Will Kempson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaq Morning in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Timperley booed when Andover City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miles Jobling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Will Kempson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calum Renner in the 27th minute of the match. Syd Worth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tristan Dodd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benjamin Horsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Syd Worth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andover City's supporters rose to their feet, but Syd Worth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Horsell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Syd Worth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Andover City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Timperley were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaq Morning to make the kick off. If Tristan Dodd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Syd Worth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Horsell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Tristan Dodd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Horsell. Timperley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tristan Dodd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Timperley's Henry Forrest shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Will Kempson but with some difficulty. In the 65th minute, Rio Nightingale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes in the game, Zaq Morning fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Will Kempson having to interfere. When Syd Worth came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Andover City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Syd Worth couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, Alec Bodsworth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andover City the free kick. Alec Bodsworth hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Calum Renner in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Will Kempson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Timperley getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Deon Coulthard hit a great ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timperley's goalkeeper Benjamin Horsell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andover City were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
