Rio Owen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ashley Sparks, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Ashley Sparks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Rio Owen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Wirral FC's Nicholas Woodward got control of the ball when Nigel Schofield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicholas Woodward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Lomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
