Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bart Darko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Deacon having to interfere. When Walthamstow FC's Rodd Ashton in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calne's goalie prevented a goal. Theo Deacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodd Ashton, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ricky Nelson lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 10 minutes into the game, one of Walthamstow FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Walthamstow FC:s Wes Chapman showed great skill when he stopped Tim Rowling:s penalty. 13 minutes into the match, Tim Rowling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wes Chapman. Walthamstow FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Rowling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Calne's Marc Helks was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rodd Ashton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Theo Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Helks in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wes Chapman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Theo Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Darko in the 30th minute of play. If Danny Gardiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Rodd Ashton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Theo Deacon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danny Gardiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theo Deacon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Gardiner ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matt Stayton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danny Gardiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Theo Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Matt Stayton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Stayton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Calne's zone, Danny Gardiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Deacon came out of the goal and Danny Gardiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, Marc Helks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walthamstow FC the free kick. A collision led to Calne getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marc Helks hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Walthamstow FC's Rodd Ashton tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tim Rowling hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Rodd Ashton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Theo Deacon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theo Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Gardiner in the 74th minute of play. Theo Deacon was a little too slow when Danny Gardiner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Calne's zone, Rodd Ashton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Deacon came out of the goal and Rodd Ashton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walthamstow FC's Bart Darko got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Calne fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Walthamstow FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
