Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Haugue took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Harvey Noble managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stowmarket's supporters rose to their feet, but Harvey Noble was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyrone Basham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Bowler during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Dunn in the 9th minute of play forced Ferencvaros's goalkeeper Tyrone Basham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Haugue took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dane Purkiss. Dane Purkiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tommy Dunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Basham having to interfere. Tyrone Basham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Dunn in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Harvey Noble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stowmarket's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harvey Noble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harvey Noble recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Craig Carlisle charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Craig Carlisle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Craig Carlisle kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Dunn in the 36th minute of play forced Ferencvaros's goalkeeper Tyrone Basham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyrone Basham was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Harvey Noble capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harvey Noble really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Tommy Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Ferencvaros's goalkeeper Tyrone Basham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harvey Noble. Tyrone Basham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, one of Stowmarket:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stowmarket. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the match, Stowmarket's goalkeeper Dane Purkiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tris Macken. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Noble in the 57th minute of play forced Ferencvaros's goalkeeper Tyrone Basham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Tommy Dunn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tyrone Basham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marty Blewitt's late challenge caught a Ferencvaros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marty Blewitt helped the player get up and apologised. Tommy Dunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tyrone Basham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tommy Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Harvey Noble's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tyrone Basham was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. James North hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tris Macken in the 79th minute of play forced Stowmarket's goalkeeper Dane Purkiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacha Moxon hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Stowmarket's Toby Starr tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ferencvaros's zone, Tommy Dunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyrone Basham came out of the goal and Tommy Dunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harvey Noble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ferencvaros's Tyrone Basham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Dunn in the 88th minute of play. Tommy Dunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Basham having to interfere. Tommy Dunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tyrone Basham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Albert Haugue fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dane Purkiss, passed just outside the right post. When the referee ended the match the Stowmarket players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
