Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Harvey Odell kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ashley Kyle in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cliff Dudgeon saved Fakenham City from getting behind. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fakenham City's goalkeeper Cliff Dudgeon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ashley Kyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cliff Dudgeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 16 in the game by Johnathon Browning from a close distance when the talented Cliff Dudgeon managed to make a qualified save. Fakenham City's players were relieved. Ashley Kyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Dudgeon having to interfere. Johnathon Browning blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cliff Dudgeon having to make a save. With a little luck, Fakenham City's Cliff Dudgeon got control of the ball when Johnathon Browning tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fakenham City's Andrew Kerridge was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kasey Mead in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fakenham City's Cliff Dudgeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Fakenham City from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Ashley Kyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cliff Dudgeon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute Ashley Kyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cliff Dudgeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vance Broadhurst's late challenge caught a Colne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vance Broadhurst helped the player get up and apologised. Vance Broadhurst hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Johnathon Browning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathon Browning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 46th minute of the match Vance Broadhurst completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vance Broadhurst a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Fakenham City getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Vance Broadhurst hit a great ball. Ashley Kyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cliff Dudgeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Archie Browne tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cliff Dudgeon. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 53rd minute. Cliff Dudgeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathon Browning, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cliff Dudgeon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathon Browning in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Ashley Kyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cliff Dudgeon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fakenham City's Cliff Dudgeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Kyle in the 65th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Ashley Kyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fakenham City's Cliff Dudgeon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Ashley Kyle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cliff Dudgeon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 73 minutes into the game, Archie Browne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fakenham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colne the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Archie Browne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Fakenham City's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Furlong came free, but Cliff Dudgeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ashley Kyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Dudgeon having to interfere. Johnathon Browning took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cliff Dudgeon. Cliff Dudgeon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Cliff Dudgeon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ashley Kyle's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Cliff Dudgeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathon Browning, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Chaz Morgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fakenham City the free kick. A collision led to Colne getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Chaz Morgan hit a great ball. Andrew Kerridge might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasey Mead. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrew Kerridge ran back to his position shaking his head. Cliff Dudgeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathon Browning, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Colne's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
