Downham Market United's Mark Theakston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Downham Market United from getting a goal against them. Mark Theakston was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chris Foreman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. Chris Foreman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Theakston read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Chris Foreman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Downham Market United's Mark Theakston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
