Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5694, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 100) Trey Shakespeare started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gwyn Wagstaff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eriks Engineering FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwyn Wagstaff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Byfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Felix Furlong had to leave the field with a concussion. When Ralph Hopgood fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored London Greens's protests and gave Ralph Hopgood a yellow card for diving instead. Ralph Hopgood kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Jude Knowles sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Adam Byfield threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jude Knowles this time. Trey Shakespeare struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Adam Byfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eriks Engineering FC. Marty Bolton, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alexander Dawes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Paul Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trey Shakespeare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Byfield having to interfere. Trey Shakespeare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. London Greens's Adam Byfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodd Downes in the 41st minute of play. Trey Shakespeare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Adam Byfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Christian Milton managed to get in a good position for a shot. London Greens's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Milton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Wilson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Christian Milton made the kick off in the second half. Eriks Engineering FC's Gwyn Wagstaff got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Byfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Shakespeare in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute Ralph Hopgood collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gwyn Wagstaff during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Eriks Engineering FC got a freekick which was hit by Gwyn Wagstaff. After recieving a nice pass, London Greens's Marty Bolton tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alexander Dawes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Paul Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trey Shakespeare in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Byfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Theo Pointon came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Eriks Engineering FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Pointon couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes, Alexander Dawes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the London Greens and the Eriks Engineering FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, London Greens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Dawes to maneuver through the defense. Chip Bramble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Byfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Shakespeare in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, London Greens's goal looked a bit too open when Trey Shakespeare came free, but Adam Byfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chip Bramble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Adam Byfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Trey Shakespeare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eriks Engineering FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trey Shakespeare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eriks Engineering FC fully deserved thier win.
