Alan Kerr came out of the goal and Darius Slater tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, FC Nevėžis's Blair Bartlett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeff Branson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Alan Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Foreman in the 63rd minute of play. Darius Slater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing East Horsley United to win.
