Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neil Banks kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Leigh Knightley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Hayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Micheal Roy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mattias Hayes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tring's Mattias Hayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micheal Roy in the 11th minute of play. Lee Hassell charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lee Hassell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Liam Matthews's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattias Hayes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. With 32 minutes on the clock, Lee Hassell commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Neil Banks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinnie Bryant having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Blair Crossley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tring's supporters rose to their feet, but Blair Crossley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinnie Bryant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Devon Goodfellow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tring's Devon Goodfellow got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blair Crossley struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Vinnie Bryant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tring. Blair Crossley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinnie Bryant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Tring were awarded a corner. Neil Banks went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Bristol City FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobby Mallon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Garth Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinnie Bryant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Garth Jones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Tring's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Mallon came free, but Mattias Hayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Burton struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Vinnie Bryant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tring. 68 minutes into the match, Tring's Don Brimble sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinnie Bryant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mattias Hayes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leigh Knightley in the 69th minute. Devon Goodfellow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vinnie Bryant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Devon Goodfellow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tring's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devon Goodfellow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devon Goodfellow in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinnie Bryant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tring's Mattias Hayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Mallon in the 83rd minute of play. Lawrence Sparkes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Bristol City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Devon Goodfellow came free, but Vinnie Bryant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes, Lawrence Sparkes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bristol City FC and the Tring players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lawrence Sparkes hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Micheal Roy hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Tring were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bristol City FC to leave the ground with a draw.
