Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brendon Atherton started the match with the kick off. Justin Machin hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Salford City's goal looked a bit too open when Devon Reynolds came free, but Sean Corrigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Hollingsworth during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salford City's Felix Hollingsworth got a free kick in the 9th minute. Brendon Atherton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Max English made a huge save. After having played for 14 minutes, Jake Perkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LGFCE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jake Perkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sean Corrigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devon Reynolds in the 20th minute of the match. If Devon Reynolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devon Reynolds took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sean Corrigan. Sean Corrigan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Salford City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LGFCE were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Devon Reynolds made the kick off in the second half. Peter Clough charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Clough the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LGFCE's Peter Clough got a free kick in the 55th minute. Salford City's Sol Rowling couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LGFCE. In the 61st match minute, Salford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Leadbeater to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Devon Reynolds notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Salford City's Sean Corrigan. Sean Corrigan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Max English took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Doona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Corrigan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Devon Reynolds in the 78th minute. Phil Walton hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Salford City got a freekick which was hit by Keith Pointon. Keith Pointon hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, LGFCE's Cody McGurk tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Devon Reynolds succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 96th playminute.
