Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nathan Crouch kicked off to start the match. Lewis Barnes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ruben Rowett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Barnes in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Aaron Nightingale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maniac City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Chester-le-Street City's Nathan Crouch in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maniac City's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lewis Barnes sped through Chester-le-Street City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruben Rowett. With a little luck, Chester-le-Street City's Ruben Rowett got control of the ball when Aaron Nightingale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Rowett came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Maniac City's Aaron Nightingale. But to his dismay, Aaron Nightingale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 35 minutes into the game, Maniac City's Aaron Nightingale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Rowett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ruben Rowett made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Aaron Nightingale sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Aaron Nightingale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Theo Brown hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lewis Barnes made the kick off in the second half. Ruben Rowett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Barnes in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Chester-le-Street City getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sebastien Thompson hit a great ball. Scott Blakeley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Laycock having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nathan Crouch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chester-le-Street City's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan Crouch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Laycock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Rowett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Nightingale in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Nathan Crouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Nightingale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Maniac City's Lewis Barnes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Rowett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lewis Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Aaron Nightingale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ruben Rowett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Nightingale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maniac City's Aaron Nightingale got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lewis Barnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Maniac City were the better team. Maniac City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
