Lewis Barnes struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jermaine Vaughan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maniac City. In the 33rd minute Aaron Nightingale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Vaughan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Lewis Barnes made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lewis Barnes in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jermaine Vaughan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Barnes in the 55th minute of play forced New Marske's goalkeeper Jermaine Vaughan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Larry Dibb in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhys Laycock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Larry Dibb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Larry Dibb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Nick Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes of play, Maniac City's Aaron Nightingale made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jermaine Vaughan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jermaine Vaughan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Barnes in the 74th minute of the match. Aaron Nightingale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jermaine Vaughan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lewis Barnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Adrian Pilkington was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Marske's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maniac City the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Marske fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Albert Rayner hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Maniac City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Marske.
