Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donny Wardman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Liam Cavanagh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Fisher having to interfere. Liam Cavanagh who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Bob Fisher when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jake Griggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Stevens got free with Bob Fisher in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yarm FC's Bob Fisher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Yarm FC from getting a goal against them. After 16 minutes, Oliver Forrest mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yarm FC and the Minehead United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliver Forrest kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Bob Fisher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Wardman in the 17th minute of play. Yarm FC's Bob Fisher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Yarm FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Yarm FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Oliver Forrest hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Liam Cavanagh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minehead United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liam Cavanagh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yarm FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Donny Wardman scored to the left of an out of position Bob Fisher, making the score, 1-0. Pedro Crossley hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yarm FC's goalkeeper Bob Fisher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jake Griggs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Donny Wardman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rowan Wendon hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Donny Wardman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minehead United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donny Wardman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yarm FC's Bob Fisher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Cavanagh in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Jake Griggs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yarm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jake Griggs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Liam Cavanagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yarm FC's Oliver Forrest got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute, Donny Wardman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Fisher was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Minehead United's Donny Wardman got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yarm FC's Bob Fisher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donny Wardman in the 79th minute of play. Donny Wardman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Fisher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, one of Yarm FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yarm FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Wardman in the 86th minute of play forced Yarm FC's goalkeeper Bob Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Pedro Crossley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minehead United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Crossley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Fisher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donny Wardman struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Bob Fisher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minehead United. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Liam Cavanagh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minehead United's supporters rose to their feet, but Liam Cavanagh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Fisher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
