Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donny Wardman kicked off to start the match. Liam Cavanagh in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Berry, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ivan Longstaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Bayford in the 4th minute of play. Donny Wardman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Martin Berry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Philip Bond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the newcastle united and the Minehead United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seth Thornton during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to newcastle united getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Seth Thornton hit a great ball. Ivan Longstaff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Titmuss's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, newcastle united's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Wardman came free, but Martin Berry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minehead United's Donny Wardman got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kev Bayford took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Longstaff. Ivan Longstaff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind newcastle united's goalkeeper Martin Berry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casey Titmuss in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Longstaff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donny Wardman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Berry having to interfere. Minehead United were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after newcastle united's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Scott Steele took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Scott Steele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Berry quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martin Berry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Wardman, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Albert Senior kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Donny Wardman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Martin Berry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casey Titmuss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Liam Holmes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored newcastle united's protests and gave Liam Holmes a yellow card for diving instead. 59 minutes into the game, one of newcastle united:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Donny Wardman struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Martin Berry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minehead United. 76 minutes into the match, Donny Wardman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of newcastle united's Martin Berry. Martin Berry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Longstaff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kev Bayford went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, newcastle united's Casey Titmuss got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Casey Reynolds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Crossley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Berry having to make a save. Martin Berry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Wardman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Albert Senior mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the newcastle united and the Minehead United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
