Jez Salmon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jez Salmon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harvey McGrath hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Rupert Ellis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Grant Wardman came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Wardman couldn't finish the play. Conan Gayle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Hewitt in the 24th minute of the match. Harvey McGrath kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Brendon Hewitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute of the match, Grant Wardman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conan Gayle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th match minute, Bermondsey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfie Tully to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Bermondsey's goalkeeper Conan Gayle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grant Wardman. Liverpool's Brendon Hewitt pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Gerry Woods fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bermondsey's protests and gave Gerry Woods a yellow card for diving instead. 44 minutes into the game, one of Bermondsey:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

Grant Wardman might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conan Gayle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grant Wardman ran back to his position shaking his head. Jez Salmon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Conan Gayle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Bermondsey's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Keanu Fry took the corner. Jez Salmon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grant Wardman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grant Wardman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Gayle having to interfere. Harvey McGrath kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bermondsey's Conan Gayle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant Wardman in the 91st minute of play. Conan Gayle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Little, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harvey McGrath's late challenge caught a Liverpool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harvey McGrath helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Bermondsey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey McGrath to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bermondsey's zone, Jez Salmon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conan Gayle came out of the goal and Jez Salmon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
