Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tony Coote made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Walendów United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glyn Mitchell-King to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes in the game, Kenny Upson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Justin Edwards having to interfere. Tony Coote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Justin Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Walendów United's goalkeeper Justin Edwards had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny Upson. With his leg Justin Edwards managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Crosby's Kenny Upson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kenny Upson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Justin Edwards when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tony Coote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenny Upson scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justin Edwards, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Coote in the 43rd minute of play forced Walendów United's goalkeeper Justin Edwards to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenny Upson got free with Justin Edwards in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Coote was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Crosby's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Mumford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tony Coote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Justin Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Walendów United's zone, Kenny Upson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Edwards came out of the goal and Kenny Upson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Crosby's Stuart Langford got control of the ball when Daniel Mumford tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Coote in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justin Edwards saved Walendów United from getting behind. Russell Willis charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russell Willis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Walendów United getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Russell Willis hit a great ball. Stuart Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Mumford, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Walendów United's zone, Kenny Upson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Edwards came out of the goal and Kenny Upson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Crosby's Kenny Upson in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walendów United's goalie prevented a goal. If Tony Coote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Coote in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justin Edwards saved Walendów United from getting behind. Justin Edwards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Upson in the 90th minute of play. Kenny Upson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Justin Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crosby's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
