Spectators: 6515 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 15) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodd Tuck took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Rodd Tuck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rowan Letheren was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes into the game, one of Horsforth FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Brackley Town. Rodd Tuck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rowan Letheren. 1-0. Paddy Bennett struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rowan Letheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brackley Town. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Machin in the 12th minute of play forced Brackley Town's goalkeeper Jeff Langford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeff Langford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Flintoff in the 14th minute of play. Rodd Tuck scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rowan Letheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leroy Machin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeff Langford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leroy Machin in the 27th minute of the match. Rupert Trunks hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Horsforth FC's zone, Johnny Reed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rowan Letheren came out of the goal and Johnny Reed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierce Rogers during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brackley Town getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pierce Rogers hit a great ball. Nigel Sollit took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeff Langford. Brackley Town's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Brackley Town's Rio Dunning seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rio Dunning the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brackley Town protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rio Dunning had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 43 minutes into the game, one of Brackley Town:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Horsforth FC. Seb Floyd stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeff Langford. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shaun Masters was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lewis Ginn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Shaun Masters took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Jeff Langford to make any attempt to save it. Rowan Letheren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnny Reed's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Rowan Letheren came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brackley Town's Paddy Bennett. But to his dismay, Paddy Bennett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Rowan Letheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paddy Bennett in the 66th minute of the match. If Johnny Reed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Horsforth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Trunks came free, but Rowan Letheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rupert Trunks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Brackley Town's Johnny Reed in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Horsforth FC's goalie prevented a goal. Paddy Bennett scored 4-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rowan Letheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Johnny Reed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brackley Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Reed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowan Letheren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ben Camfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rowan Letheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rowan Letheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paddy Bennett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rowan Letheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Reed in the 88th minute of the match. Pierce Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Letheren having to interfere. Paddy Bennett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rowan Letheren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Rowan Letheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Reed, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Rupert Trunks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
