Spectators: 6515 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 15) 3 minutes into the game, Ben Camfield cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Damion Cheeseman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Brackley Town's Rodd Tuck got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Kristopher Bodsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Langford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeff Langford came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ingatestone's Jay Young. But to his dismay, Jay Young quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Ingatestone's Damion Cheeseman got control of the ball when Paddy Bennett tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Rodd Tuck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ben Camfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Damion Cheeseman made a huge save. Damion Cheeseman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Reed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paddy Bennett kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jeff Langford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Bodsworth in the 26th minute of play. Damion Cheeseman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodd Tuck in the 27th minute of the match. Ingatestone's Kristopher Bodsworth got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Rodd Tuck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damion Cheeseman was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Damion Cheeseman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Camfield in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Ingatestone's goal looked a bit too open when Rodd Tuck came free, but Damion Cheeseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ingatestone's Damion Cheeseman got control of the ball when Ben Camfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damion Cheeseman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodd Tuck, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Damion Cheeseman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Reed in the 43rd minute of the match. Damion Cheeseman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Camfield in the 45th minute. Kristopher Bodsworth struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jeff Langford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingatestone. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristopher Bodsworth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Paddy Bennett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brackley Town's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ingatestone the free kick. Paddy Bennett hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Paddy Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damion Cheeseman having to interfere. In the 66th minute Paddy Bennett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damion Cheeseman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paddy Bennett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damion Cheeseman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When Brackley Town's Rodd Tuck in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ingatestone's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duncan Milner during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 80 in the game by Ian Rothery from a close distance when the talented Jeff Langford managed to make a qualified save. Brackley Town's players were relieved. Ingatestone's Damion Cheeseman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Camfield in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Rodd Tuck made a precise shot to the right of Damion Cheeseman. Ingatestone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Brackley Town players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
