Nicky Tyson was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Rodd Tuck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodd Tuck really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 18th minute, Paddy Bennett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodd Tuck in the 19th minute of play forced Staines's goalkeeper Nicky Tyson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Brackley Town got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Milner. In the 21st minute of the match Adam Parkin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeff Langford skillfully saved the ball. Ben Camfield succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. When Brackley Town's Ben Camfield in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Staines's goalie prevented a goal. Johnny Reed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nicky Tyson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeff Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Johnstone, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th match minute, Brackley Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Milner to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Adam Parkin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeff Langford showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Staines's Nicky Tyson got control of the ball when Ben Camfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Brackley Town's Rodd Tuck in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Staines's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodd Tuck made a kick off. Jeff Langford made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Stan Kaye sent off a good shot on target. Nicky Tyson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Reed in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Duncan Milner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brackley Town and the Staines players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duncan Milner hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Stan Kaye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jeff Langford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rio Dunning hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jeff Langford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Johnstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benji Collier's late challenge caught a Brackley Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benji Collier helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Staines's Benji Collier got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sammy Brighton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staines's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Brighton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeff Langford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeff Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ward, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Martin Ward got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Brackley Town's Paddy Bennett got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 86th match minute, Brackley Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Trunks to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Adam Parkin from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Jeff Langford's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierce Rogers during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeff Langford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ward in the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Ward kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeff Langford. That made the score 2-2 in the 94 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Staines's Sammy Brighton got a free kick in the 96th minute. Staines succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Brackley Town had controlled the match.
