The supporters of Horsforth FC booed when Wycombe Wanderers F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Perryman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shaun Masters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Brynn Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes, Joshua Blower mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wycombe Wanderers F.C and the Horsforth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 15 minutes into the match, Wycombe Wanderers F.C's goalkeeper Brynn Delaney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leroy Machin. Shaun Masters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Brynn Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wycombe Wanderers F.C's Brynn Delaney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Wycombe Wanderers F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Fred Doughty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Letheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, one of Horsforth FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 38 minutes into the match, Wycombe Wanderers F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Shaun Masters came free, but Brynn Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horsforth FC's Leroy Machin got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Doughty was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Wycombe Wanderers F.C defense, Leroy Machin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brynn Delaney. The Wycombe Wanderers F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brynn Delaney should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Horsforth FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Leroy Machin hit a great ball. Shaun Masters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brynn Delaney having to make a save. If Rowan Perryman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Leroy Machin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brynn Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rowan Letheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Doughty, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Dan Walsh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horsforth FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wycombe Wanderers F.C the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Horsforth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Walsh to maneuver through the defense. Rowan Letheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rowan Perryman in the 89th minute. If Leroy Machin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
