In the 13th minute, Len Wilkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frazer Towler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Chaz Chadwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weybridge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaz Chadwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Frazer Towler got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Weybridge United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MeowMeowCats:s goal. Frank Cousens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chaz Chadwick's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Frazer Towler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ray Purkiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Cousens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tod Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Tod Campbell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weybridge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Campbell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Cousens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The MeowMeowCats players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Weybridge United were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chaz Chadwick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Thomson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Croyden in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Purkiss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 60 minutes, Frazer Towler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MeowMeowCats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frazer Towler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Chaz Chadwick came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Weybridge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chaz Chadwick couldn't finish the play. Frazer Towler struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ray Purkiss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MeowMeowCats. Austen Woodman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ray Purkiss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frazer Towler went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the game, Wesley Croyden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MeowMeowCats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Weybridge United the free kick. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Weybridge United's goalkeeper Ray Purkiss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Frank Cousens managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Weybridge United's Tod Campbell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 95 minutes into the match, MeowMeowCats's goal looked a bit too open when Chaz Chadwick came free, but Frank Cousens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
