Broadgreen FC's Pang Zheng Zhen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frazer Towler in the 27th minute of play. MeowMeowCats's Frank Cousens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save MeowMeowCats from getting a goal against them. Denny Palmer hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Frazer Towler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Frank Cousens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Frank Cousens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Noble, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frazer Towler got free with Pang Zheng Zhen in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Cousens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Wallbank in the 79th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nathan Wallbank sped through MeowMeowCats's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Cousens. Pang Zheng Zhen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay Sutherland, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Broadgreen FC booed when MeowMeowCats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frazer Towler didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Broadgreen FC fully deserved thier win.
