When Conal Stiles fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MeowMeowCats's protests and gave Conal Stiles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Conal Stiles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vitorino FC booed when MeowMeowCats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Croyden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Ollie Tate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th match minute, MeowMeowCats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Croyden to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ollie Tate sped through MeowMeowCats's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frank Cousens. Jay Sutherland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Scott Beresford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Bradfield, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Vitorino FC's Craig Powell got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ivor Spacey kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Vitorino FC's goalkeeper Scott Beresford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frazer Towler.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jay Sutherland to strike the kick off in the second half. Scott Beresford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frazer Towler went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Scott Beresford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Beesley, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Frazer Towler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scott Beresford having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Jay Sutherland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MeowMeowCats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jay Sutherland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vitorino FC's zone, Wesley Croyden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scott Beresford came out of the goal and Wesley Croyden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jay Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ollie Tate came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vitorino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ollie Tate couldn't finish the play. Vitorino FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though MeowMeowCats had controlled the match.
