Daryl Bartlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pang Zheng Zhen having to interfere. Nathan Wallbank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Blair Marchant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martyn Delamore charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martyn Delamore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Orly Nawalki's Martyn Delamore got a free kick in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Broadgreen FC's Nathan Wallbank slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blair Marchant. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Buster Keane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orly Nawalki's Blair Marchant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blair Marchant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Wallbank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pang Zheng Zhen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Bartlett in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Buster Keane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blair Marchant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Pang Zheng Zhen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Bartlett in the 27th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Blair Marchant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Nathan Wallbank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Broadgreen FC's Nathan Wallbank ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blair Marchant. Blair Marchant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 38th minute Nathan Wallbank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Marchant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nathan Wallbank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Wallbank in the 43rd minute of play forced Orly Nawalki's goalkeeper Blair Marchant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Orly Nawalki's Blair Marchant got control of the ball when Nathan Wallbank tried to sneak it across the goal line. Huey Dunlop kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Pang Zheng Zhen came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Orly Nawalki's Thom Robertson. But to his dismay, Thom Robertson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daryl Bartlett to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Nathan Wallbank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blair Marchant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Nathan Wallbank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Orly Nawalki's zone, Buster Keane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair Marchant came out of the goal and Buster Keane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blair Marchant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathan Wallbank, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Daryl Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blair Marchant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Kirchberg in the 86th minute of the match. 5-2 came through a penalty shot after 89 played minutes, when Orly Nawalki:s Norman Rawson calmly waited for Broadgreen FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Nathan Wallbank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Blair Marchant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orly Nawalki's Blair Marchant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathan Wallbank in the 96th minute of play. Broadgreen FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
