Bart Lappin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyn Spurgeon having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Dominik Hunter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camborne were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Manchester Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ash Booth took the corner. Bill Newbury recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sacha Kerr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Manchester Devils got a freekick which was hit by Richie Ripley. The audience was convinced that Lloyd Coe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Hunter was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Dominik Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Newbury in the 42nd minute of the match. The Camborne fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Camborne's Bill Newbury looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 52 played minutes Camborne got a freekick which was hit by Neil Galloway. In the 53rd minute, Bart Lappin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominik Hunter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lloyd Coe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Dominik Hunter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dominik Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Newbury in the 74th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Manchester Devils:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Camborne:s goal. Ash Booth shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Newbury in the 86th minute of play forced Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Dominik Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester Devils's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Bill Newbury scored to the left of an out of position Dominik Hunter, making the score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bill Newbury in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Camborne's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
