Woolwich City's Malcolm Bowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Lane in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Harkness in the 36th minute of play forced Woolwich City's goalkeeper Malcolm Bowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Gareth Izzard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Shaftesbury FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tod Broadhead was slow to take the kick. During this time Woolwich City's players had a chance to rest. Simon Sugden tried in the 43rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Gareth Izzard a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by CJ Slabber during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Woolwich City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Slabber to maneuver through the defense. After 48 minutes of play Woolwich City's CJ Slabber was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. CJ Slabber kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bradley Harkness was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Shawn Lane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaftesbury FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Lane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Bowler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bradley Harkness sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcolm Bowler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Harkness, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shawn Lane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Malcolm Bowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shane Childs kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Bradley Harkness rounded Woolwich City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Shawn Lane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Bowler having to interfere. Woolwich City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
