Dominik Hunter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Manchester Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dion Cross to maneuver through the defense. If Bradley Harkness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Harkness in the 27th minute of play. Dominik Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Harkness in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richie Ripley during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Manchester Devils got a freekick which was hit by Richie Ripley. If Shawn Lane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Harkness, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Harkness in the 43rd minute of play forced Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Dominik Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manchester Devils's Sacha Kerr got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sacha Kerr made a kick off. Sacha Kerr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gareth Izzard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Harkness in the 56th minute of play forced Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Dominik Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Childs, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Dion Cross was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shaftesbury FC the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Dion Cross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Harkness in the 65th minute of play. Gareth Izzard made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Bart Lappin sent off a good shot on target. Dion Cross hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester Devils's zone, Bradley Harkness stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Hunter came out of the goal and Bradley Harkness tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Shaftesbury FC booed when Manchester Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dion Cross didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shane Childs kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Dominik Hunter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shawn Lane's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Bradley Harkness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, one of Manchester Devils:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bradley Harkness sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Lane in the 92nd minute of play forced Manchester Devils's goalkeeper Dominik Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brynn Kessler got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
