Spectators: 5006 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lawrence Rayner took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lionbow FC's Lawrence Rayner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Malcolm Bowler. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. A collision led to Lionbow FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Henry Coogan hit a great ball. Aaron Frain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Frain in the 13th minute of play forced Woolwich City's goalkeeper Malcolm Bowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Seb Chadwick notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Woolwich City's Malcolm Bowler. Malcolm Bowler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Woolwich City getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tod Broadhead hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Woolwich City's zone, Aaron Frain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Bowler came out of the goal and Aaron Frain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malcolm Bowler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lawrence Rayner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Woolwich City's goal looked a bit too open when Lawrence Rayner came free, but Malcolm Bowler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seb Chadwick took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malcolm Bowler. Malcolm Bowler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 47 minutes into the match, Aaron Frain notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Woolwich City's Malcolm Bowler. Malcolm Bowler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Tommy Bland made the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Dale Monkhouse in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Woolwich City's Tod Broadhead. The supporters of Lionbow FC booed when Woolwich City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Ricketts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Bowler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seb Chadwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Lionbow FC's Aaron Frain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malcolm Bowler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Malcolm Bowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seb Chadwick in the 68th minute of the match. Verne Bator hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Lionbow FC's Seb Chadwick couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Woolwich City. Seb Chadwick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Woolwich City's goal looked a bit too open when Seb Chadwick came free, but Malcolm Bowler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lionbow FC's Lawrence Rayner got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Woolwich City's zone, Seb Chadwick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Bowler came out of the goal and Seb Chadwick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Byron Chalk's late challenge caught a Lionbow FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Byron Chalk helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Woolwich City getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Byron Chalk hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Tommy Bland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rod Auty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seb Chadwick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lionbow FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
