Spectators: 7605 (Terracing: 5705, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felix Sawbridge took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Morgan in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Halford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Felix Sawbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Morgan in the 10th minute of play forced Warrington KK's goalkeeper Jim Halford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Grant Borrowdale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Brandon Woodford came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the McGregor Kills all fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brandon Woodford couldn't finish the play. If Felix Sawbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Halford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Sawbridge in the 39th minute of the match. McGregor Kills all's Robin Morgan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Felix Sawbridge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McGregor Kills all's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Sawbridge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Philip Carlick to make the kick off. Jim Halford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Woodford, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Felix Sawbridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Felix Sawbridge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Sawbridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Halford having to interfere. Jim Halford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Sawbridge in the 67th minute of play. Grant Borrowdale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Roy Prior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Sawbridge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Halford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Warrington KK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robin Morgan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 81st match minute, McGregor Kills all was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graham Paterson to maneuver through the defense. The McGregor Kills all fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when McGregor Kills all's Robin Morgan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Craig Durkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warrington KK's supporters rose to their feet, but Craig Durkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Prior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. McGregor Kills all's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
