Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Sawbridge started the match with the kick off. Darryl Fisher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Roy Prior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Robin Morgan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paddy Doughty was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Darryl Fisher sped through McGregor Kills all's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roy Prior. In the 24th minute Darryl Fisher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Grainger kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. McGregor Kills all's Felix Sawbridge got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roy Prior made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Brad Hibbert sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, McGregor Kills all was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dom Calder to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes in the game Sean Dryden after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Roy Prior. A very good opportunity. Robin Morgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paddy Doughty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Morgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brad Hibbert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Roy Prior skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Shane Lamb charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shane Lamb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Romford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shane Lamb to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Sawbridge in the 49th minute of play forced Romford's goalkeeper Paddy Doughty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Felix Sawbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brad Hibbert scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roy Prior, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Sawbridge in the 64th minute of play forced Romford's goalkeeper Paddy Doughty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Romford's Darryl Fisher in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye McGregor Kills all's goalie prevented a goal. If Brad Hibbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Romford's Paddy Doughty got control of the ball when Robin Morgan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Darryl Fisher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Morgan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Paddy Doughty when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Darryl Fisher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roy Prior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Hibbert in the 88th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the McGregor Kills all players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Romford.
