Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timothy Bryant started the match with the kick off. Josh Hopgood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Tinker in the 4th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Timothy Bryant notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C.Bulan's Nath Hatcher. Nath Hatcher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alf Boxall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When F.C.Bulan's Kenny Tinker in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wadebridge's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Kenny Tinker took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Josh Hopgood to make any attempt to save it. Nath Hatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Bryant in the 28th minute of the match. Justin Beadle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hatcher having to interfere. Justin Beadle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timothy Bryant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hatcher having to interfere. F.C.Bulan's Nath Hatcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Bryant in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenny Tinker was the one to do the kick off. F.C.Bulan's Kenny Tinker got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Boxall in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josh Hopgood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nath Hatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothy Bryant in the 57th minute of the match. Richard Stiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Nath Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josh Hopgood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Boxall, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Alf Boxall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Beadle took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nath Hatcher. Nath Hatcher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Wadebridge's zone, Alf Boxall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josh Hopgood came out of the goal and Alf Boxall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josh Hopgood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Boxall in the 75th minute of the match. Kenny Tinker struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Josh Hopgood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Bulan. If Kenny Tinker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Stiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nath Hatcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of F.C.Bulan booed when Wadebridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Middlewood didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josh Hopgood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Tinker in the 90th minute of play. Justin Beadle might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nath Hatcher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justin Beadle ran back to his position shaking his head. 98 minutes into the match, F.C.Bulan's Alf Boxall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josh Hopgood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Wadebridge players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
