Stevie Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Beaumont in the 4th minute of the match. Stevie Holt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Lightfoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Rowan Winfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Franz Lightfoot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Beaumont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ronny Beaumont came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kemsing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Beaumont couldn't finish the play. The Kemsing fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Kemsing's Franz Lightfoot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kemsing's Ronny Beaumont got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Franz Lightfoot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stevie Holt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ronny Beaumont struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Stevie Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemsing. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Brook in the 44th minute of play forced Kemsing's goalkeeper Bart Houghton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ronny Beaumont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franz Lightfoot made a kick off. Stevie Holt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Lightfoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ronny Beaumont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of King Of The North booed when Kemsing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Lightfoot didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to King Of The North getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nicky Nethercott hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Ivan Brook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Houghton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Des Potter hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronny Beaumont got free with Stevie Holt in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute of the match Kemsing got a corner. King Of The North's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Howard Hutchings ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kemsing's Howard Hutchings was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stevie Holt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Franz Lightfoot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stevie Holt having to make a save. After 87 played minutes King Of The North got a freekick which was hit by Rowan Winfield. The long shot by Howard Hutchings in the 88th minute really tested Stevie Holt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 89th minute of the match Kemsing got a corner. King Of The North's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Howard Hutchings ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 93rd minute, Travis Lovell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Russell Theakston cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bart Houghton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kemsing played a much better game than King Of The North and deserved their victory. The King Of The North players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
