Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Duncan Wroe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevie Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute Ivan Brook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Church saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Brook in the 8th minute of play forced DSCLUB's goalkeeper Eddie Church to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Brook's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddie Church read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Eddie Church made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russell Theakston in the 11th minute of play. Eddie Church took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Nethercott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of King Of The North booed when DSCLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry West didn't get a good kick on the ball. Russell Theakston might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddie Church. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russell Theakston ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Brook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Church having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Rodney Jones notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of King Of The North's Stevie Holt. Stevie Holt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The DSCLUB fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when DSCLUB's Duncan Wroe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Duncan Wroe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry West sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

In the 56th minute, Jerry West made a precise shot to the right of Stevie Holt. King Of The North's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Russell Theakston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, Mickey Windsor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Church showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Butler, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Rob Boxall hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. DSCLUB's Eddie Church played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russell Theakston in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, King Of The North's Rowan Winfield got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Blair Laverack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Russell Theakston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eddie Church tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Duncan Wroe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stevie Holt was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Rodney Jones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DSCLUB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
