Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Basil North started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Wigmore United's William Bagshaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Laverack in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Duncan Wroe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DSCLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duncan Wroe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. William Bagshaw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duncan Wroe's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After 11 minutes, Trevor York mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wigmore United and the DSCLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trevor York kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Edward Kessler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Bagshaw showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Duncan Wroe might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Bagshaw. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duncan Wroe ran back to his position shaking his head. William Bagshaw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodney Jones went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Wigmore United's zone, Duncan Wroe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Bagshaw came out of the goal and Duncan Wroe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jerry West had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, DSCLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry West to maneuver through the defense. Wigmore United's Basil North got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duncan Wroe in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Bagshaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eddie Church showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil North in the 33rd minute of the match. Duncan Wroe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Bagshaw having to interfere. William Bagshaw made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Duncan Wroe managed to get in a good position for a shot. DSCLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Duncan Wroe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Bagshaw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Bagshaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duncan Wroe, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th match minute, Wigmore United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Clarkson to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Duncan Wroe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Wigmore United defense, Jerry West kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Bagshaw. The Wigmore United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Bagshaw should have stopped the shot. Duncan Wroe struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. William Bagshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DSCLUB. Duncan Wroe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Blair Laverack got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Duncan Wroe struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. William Bagshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DSCLUB. 83 minutes into the match, DSCLUB's Rodney Jones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Bagshaw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Wigmore United getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rob Tuck hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes, DSCLUB's Edward Kessler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Bagshaw came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DSCLUB reached it. Duncan Wroe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Duncan Wroe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wigmore United's William Bagshaw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute, Duncan Wroe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
