In the 36th minute, Ash Watson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Chingford City's Nicky Edwards nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerry Greenfield to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Pinebrook AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Hoult to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chingford City's goalkeeper Dom Downes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl Beresford kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Gerry Greenfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Blacksmith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerry Greenfield ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicky Edwards could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Roger Blacksmith made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Pinebrook AFC's Sammy Pack got a free kick in the 74th minute. Gerry Greenfield in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger Blacksmith, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Greg Clough might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dom Downes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerry Greenfield in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Blacksmith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roger Blacksmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Greenfield in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Pinebrook AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Pack to maneuver through the defense. Gerry Greenfield's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Blacksmith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
