Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerry Greenfield kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Chingford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerry Greenfield to maneuver through the defense. Lenny Huxtable got in the 4th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dom Downes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Nicky Edwards came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Chingford City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicky Edwards couldn't finish the play. Gerry Greenfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Buckler having to interfere. 12 minutes in the game, Gerry Greenfield fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Peter Buckler having to interfere. Lenny Huxtable recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dom Downes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Huxtable in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Chingford City's Gerry Greenfield sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Buckler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 played minutes, Real Madrid CF's Keanu Sheldon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dom Downes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Madrid CF reached it. Rick Thornton hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Keanu Sheldon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dom Downes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Lenny Huxtable managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Huxtable was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dom Downes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenny Huxtable received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dom Downes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gareth Stamp made a kick off. Gerry Greenfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicky Edwards sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Will Tyrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerry Greenfield in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Buckler saved Real Madrid CF from getting behind. In the 62nd match minute, Real Madrid CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Tyrell to maneuver through the defense. Gerry Greenfield took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Buckler. Peter Buckler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Peter Buckler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perry Emberson during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Real Madrid CF got a freekick which was hit by Perry Emberson. The supporters of Chingford City booed when Real Madrid CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Tyrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rory Darnbrooke, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Edwards in the 76th minute of play forced Real Madrid CF's goalkeeper Peter Buckler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Buckler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Greenfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Chingford City getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Harvey Gates hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lenny Huxtable could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Dom Downes however easily saved by the left post. In the 82nd match minute, Chingford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Darnbrooke to maneuver through the defense. Gerry Greenfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chingford City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Madrid CF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
