When Dom Penn came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Thurmaston City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dom Penn couldn't finish the play. Samuel Prutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Thurmaston City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ritchie Waterhouse fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Samuel Prutton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Thurmaston City's Jonathon Barnes got control of the ball when Samuel Prutton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saint Dorris Dynamoes's Bart Hutchins couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Thurmaston City. Travis Coleman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jonathon Barnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritchie Waterhouse in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Thurmaston City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyn Watts to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes in the game Bart Hutchins after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Jonathon Barnes. A very good opportunity.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ritchie Waterhouse to make the kick off. Jonathon Barnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ritchie Waterhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Thurmaston City's Ashley Hunter threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Devon Chiverton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ritchie Waterhouse in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathon Barnes saved Thurmaston City from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Ritchie Waterhouse made a precise shot to the right of Jonathon Barnes. Thurmaston City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 76 minutes into the game, Travis Coleman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thurmaston City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Dorris Dynamoes the free kick. A collision led to Thurmaston City getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Travis Coleman hit a great ball. Ritchie Waterhouse struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jonathon Barnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Dorris Dynamoes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Prutton in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathon Barnes saved Thurmaston City from getting behind. In the 86th minute of the match Bart Hutchins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathon Barnes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ritchie Waterhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathon Barnes having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Samuel Prutton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Prutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jonathon Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ashley Hunter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Devon Chiverton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 96 minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Saint Dorris Dynamoes had played much better football throughout.
