Spectators: 6747 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rory Hayes kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Ossett United's goal looked a bit too open when Keanu Yeo came free, but Rodd Rawlings reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Mike Westwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14thth minute of the game Keanu Yeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ossett United's Rodd Rawlings was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodd Rawlings came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Huyton AFC's Keanu Yeo. But to his dismay, Keanu Yeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Rory Hayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodd Rawlings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Junior Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Huyton AFC's Rhys Hopgood got control of the ball when Blair Berryman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blair Berryman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rhys Hopgood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blair Berryman got free with Rhys Hopgood in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Keanu Yeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rory Hayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodd Rawlings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Hayes in the 42nd minute of the match. Keanu Yeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodd Rawlings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keanu Yeo in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Junior Swanson made the kick off in the second half. Deon Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Alexander Butler, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Keanu Yeo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodd Rawlings. Ossett United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keanu Yeo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 72 minutes Ossett United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ollie Kalischer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Huyton AFC's Ollie Kalischer to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodd Rawlings despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mike Westwood charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike Westwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Ossett United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Westwood to maneuver through the defense. Rodd Rawlings made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Keanu Yeo sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Ossett United's goalkeeper Rodd Rawlings had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Keanu Yeo. In the 86th minute, Keiran Fayle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rory Hayes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rodd Rawlings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Lamb hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Huyton AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ossett United.
