Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Richard Noble made the kick off which started today's match. Hadleigh United's Damon Buckley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josh Hatcher in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralph Forrester in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damon Buckley saved Hadleigh United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Forrester in the 14th minute of play forced Hadleigh United's goalkeeper Damon Buckley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Josh Hatcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damon Buckley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damon Buckley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Forrester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Noble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nathan Fowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Gaskell took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damon Buckley. Damon Buckley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ralph Forrester fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banafshe FC's protests and gave Ralph Forrester a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Banafshe FC got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Forrester. Nathan Fowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Noble in the 32nd minute of the match. Ralph Forrester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damon Buckley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Josh Hatcher took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damon Buckley. Damon Buckley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 43 played minutes Hadleigh United got a freekick which was hit by Stu Marsden. 45 minutes into the match, Hadleigh United's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Forrester came free, but Damon Buckley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Josh Hatcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Josh Hatcher made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hadleigh United's zone, Ralph Forrester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damon Buckley came out of the goal and Ralph Forrester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Banafshe FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Banafshe FC's Josh Hatcher looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the game, Josh Hatcher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banafshe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hadleigh United the free kick. The supporters of Hadleigh United booed when Banafshe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josh Hatcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Richard Noble came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Hadleigh United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Noble couldn't finish the play. Ralph Forrester took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damon Buckley. Damon Buckley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Josh Hatcher put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Damon Buckley. In the 74th minute, Marty Trotter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nathan Fowler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Walton in the 75th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Stuart Darko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hadleigh United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banafshe FC the free kick. In the 91st minute, Jay Nelson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damon Buckley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josh Hatcher's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Josh Hatcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damon Buckley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ralph Forrester in the 99th minute. Banafshe FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
