Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wirral County's Phillip Percival started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Rory Jefferies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.F.C Bournemouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Jefferies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A well placed Alfie Walker short distance shot in the 5th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Alfie Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Patten having to interfere. The shot was stopped by Danny Patten but with some difficulty. In the 28th match minute, A.F.C Bournemouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Theakston to maneuver through the defense. Tyler Theakston hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Wirral County's Danny Patten got control of the ball when Rory Jefferies tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes in the game, Alfie Walker fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Danny Patten having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Tyler Theakston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rio Laurie struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alfie Marler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wirral County. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfie Walker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danny Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfie Walker in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, A.F.C Bournemouth's Alfie Marler got control of the ball when Rio Laurie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danny Patten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Jefferies in the 56th minute of play. Tommy Varley's late challenge caught a A.F.C Bournemouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Varley helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.F.C Bournemouth booed when Wirral County was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Varley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthew Whittingham shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Rory Jefferies came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the A.F.C Bournemouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rory Jefferies couldn't finish the play. Alfie Walker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Patten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Rio Laurie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfie Marler firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 68th minute, Alfie Walker made a precise shot to the right of Danny Patten. Wirral County's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Alfie Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danny Patten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Jefferies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zak Swallow kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Rory Jefferies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Patten having to interfere. Alfie Walker struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Danny Patten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.F.C Bournemouth. Tyler Theakston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Wirral County was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rio Laurie to maneuver through the defense. A.F.C Bournemouth walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
