Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) When Dean Turnbull came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Letchworth United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dean Turnbull couldn't finish the play. In the 6th match minute, Letchworth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylon Hehir to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th match minute, Tenbury Wells AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Branston to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Dale Hargraves in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tenbury Wells AFC's Pierce Stone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Hargraves in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Letchworth United's Kasey Clayton got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Tenbury Wells AFC's Joshua Flintoff broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rob Jefferies hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Wesley Hardcastle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenbury Wells AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Hardcastle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierce Stone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Hargraves in the 29th minute of play. Camron Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rob Jefferies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Adam Keyworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Tenbury Wells AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Jefferies came free, but Pierce Stone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Shane Rockett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Letchworth United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tenbury Wells AFC the free kick. A collision led to Letchworth United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adrian Brearley hit a great ball. Jez Howard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Hardcastle, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Jez Howard came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Tenbury Wells AFC's Camron Adams. But to his dismay, Camron Adams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dale Hargraves to strike the kick off in the second half. Tenbury Wells AFC's Denny Saxton pulled a muscle in his back after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 59 played minutes Letchworth United got a freekick which was hit by Austin Bilham. Jez Howard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camron Adams went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jez Howard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Adams in the 63rd minute of play. Shane Rockett got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Letchworth United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Shane Rockett hit a great ball. Jez Howard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camron Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dean Turnbull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrian Brearley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dean Turnbull got free with Pierce Stone in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camron Adams might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jez Howard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camron Adams ran back to his position shaking his head. Austin Bilham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierce Stone having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Camron Adams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tenbury Wells AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camron Adams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jez Howard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes, Joshua Flintoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tenbury Wells AFC and the Letchworth United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joshua Flintoff kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Camron Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Jez Howard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tenbury Wells AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Letchworth United for a fine match.
