The referee ignored Waterfoot's protests and gave Edward Gilroy a yellow card for diving instead. Edward Gilroy hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Bryan Carey-Bertram had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geoff Dunne. Leave it yeh!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryan Carey-Bertram was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20th minute, Barrie Maskell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leave it yeh!'s Geoff Dunne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Corbett in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Bryan Carey-Bertram notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Leave it yeh!'s Geoff Dunne. Geoff Dunne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Max Corbett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Max Corbett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geoff Dunne was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. A collision led to Leave it yeh! getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alastair Fielden hit a great ball. Roger Blackwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bryan Carey-Bertram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Croxford hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Romeo Sparks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Leave it yeh! players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Waterfoot were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dom Saville made a kick off. In the 59thth minute of the game Bryan Carey-Bertram who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leave it yeh!'s Geoff Dunne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Max Corbett sped through Leave it yeh!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geoff Dunne. Max Corbett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Max Corbett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoff Dunne having to interfere. A collision led to Leave it yeh! getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Leigh Whieldon hit a great ball. Dominic Croxford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoff Dunne having to interfere. Dom Saville fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Gallacher having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dom Saville during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Curtis Gallacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dom Saville, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
